About Us
Our Mission
Your success is our priority. We don’t just want students, we want to build a community of pilots that love aviation. We provide a personal approach tailoring learning methods to each student's needs and goals. Our focus is tailwheel endorsements, backcountry instruction, off airport landings, aerobatics, and helping you gain the skills you need to land your dream job or obtain the bucket list interest you’ve been dreaming of. Let’s start the adventure together!
Dedicated Instructors
All our instructors are high time pilots with years of experience in aviation. Our pilots are passionate about aviation and teaching. Our focus is to keep instructors for the long haul and not just instructors working on building their own time. All our instructors are at minimum 2-year CFIs, however, most are 20 plus years instructors with thousands of hours of flight time. Our instructors have knowledge in all manners of aviation from 135 cooperate flying in North and South America to flying backcountry in Alaska. We strive to build a community of instructors that have experienced many of the adventures, excitement and skills aviation has to offer. We want to share these practices and teach others how to safely achieve their dreams in aviation.
First Rate Course Offerings
We embrace a learning environment that will prepare you for your unique path. Our classes incorporate hands-on experiences and personalized video footage to review your progress after each flight. As a bonus you get to keep the footage to share your adventures in aviation
Tailwheel Scholarship
Our way to give back to aviation
Helping to keep stick and rudder skills at the fore front of Pilot skills. We will be taking applications now through Aug 30 2023 and will draw and the end of Aug for the winner of the Tailwheel Scholarship. The only prerequisite is to have at least a PPL or be expected to have your ppl by the time of the drawing. Below Please include a picture and resume with an explanation of your desire to become a tailwheel pilot and a bit about you so we can make our decision.
This Scholarship is for our accelerated course of 10 hours of flight time and 10 hours of ground only with us, Scud Air Solutions and is not transferable or exchange able.
